Dear all,
We are happy using Confluence for collaboration.
Now, we also want to use Confluence for certain content - like corporate policies, guidelines etc. - to be published to all employees in the company. Next to the ones with Confluence accounts and licenses, these other employees should have read only access to the space but access should be limited to "from inside the company" which might be defined by Directory-integration like users from "@company.net".
Perfect would be, to be able to share a certain space just for all corporate-users via SSO, without a license. Next to that, we would even like to buy an very-small read-only-license.
Since we are also using Jira Service Management, first intention was to use the service-portal to publish these kind of pages, but recognized this not to be convenient. The user does not get the space or pages displayed in its structure with links and sub-pages.
Is there any - existing or planned - way to get such a setup up and running?
Kind regards,
Fritz
That's exactly my use case :)
I solved it using an app - Scroll Viewport by K15t.
What it does is that builds a website from your Confluence space (even if it doesn't have public access enabled).
You can then connect that website to your domain and put it behind SSO. So everybody with on our SSO can access the site, even if they're not a Confluence user.
This is how I built an internal-only version of our product documentation.
Feel free to reach out for more details or get in touch directly with K15t.
Best,
Kris
