I would like to define a variable on a confluence page (e.g. page_author) which I would like to use in the Scroll PDF Exporter app to define the author name on the frontpage.

Any ideas how I can do this? I tried page properties, but this did not work.

Hi @Horst Hossy

using page properties and the corresponding placeholder in the template should work as long as you've set the property on the root page of the export (in case you're exporting a page tree).

Did you arrange the property table properly wrt. rows vs. columns?

Here's a working demo:

  1. Insert the Page Property placeholder to your template's title page:

  2. In the Confluence page editor add a page property macro and table:

  3. Exporting the page with this template should then create a title page like this:

If that doesn't work for you please feel free to create a support ticket at https://support.k15t.com

Cheers,
Jens
