I tried using JIRA automation to implement the automatic filling of the component leader into the product owner field . But I don't know how to config "edit issue" in automation role.
Hi @Shiwang Liu ,
Just to confirm - is this related to Confluence or to Jira? I'm asking as this has been posted in Confluence group so I'm wondering if 'product owner' is something like a table row on Confluence page?
As for the screenshot you've provided, first, you would need to use branching/iterate through all the issues you would like to check. Next, you would need to consider what if there are multiple components selected on an issue. Lastly, automation doesn't support smart value to get component lead as such, so you would need to use a web request to get a component lead ID or name and then place that user into "Product Owner" field.
For that, please check (and vote if you want) the following suggestion: AUTO-485: Automation support for working with components and component leads - new triggers, actions and smart values
Cheers,
Tobi
Could you please share a screenshot of where exactly you are stuck? You can use smart values to SET the the product owner field.

I want to check JIRA issue regularly to see if the product owner field is not filled in ,and fill with component leader.
