How to limit the number of preserved versions of confluence pages, a long history does not need to be preserved. For example, I want to limit each page to only the last 200 versions.
Maybe it's possible to do it programmatically by running some sort of script but, as server is no longer supported, you'll have to do a bit of research yourself.
I believe you can manually delete older versions but that's an overkill...
As for Confluence server maintenance, here's what my team was doing (in a previous company, we had Server but that was almost 4 years ago).
- regularly flush cache (in System settings)
- regularly re-index (in System settings)
Doing this really improved performance.
On a system level, I vaguely remember you could manually adjust memory allocation or smth like that from the system settings but that's something our DevOps team was doing combined with the actual server and VM setup.

Hi @chencheng_igwfmc_com - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
I don't believe that is possible. Also, it looks like you are still on the Server version? If so there is no support for that. If you have moved to Data Center you can check with Atlassian support:

Thank you John.
I want to resolve the issue of Confluence opening slowly, as I am concerned that it will become slower over time with increased usage. Do you have any good preventive measures?

Sorry, I don't use the Server version so I wouldn't be a good source of information there.
