I have created the group of 9 users but i do not find permission in space setting which can restrict this group to access the space.
See the screenshot, by default it is ticket on view and if i untick it the entire group will be removed from the Group list.

You cant restrict the only particular members of the group like that, you'll have to create a new group excluding 9 users whom you dont want to give access to the confluence space & then grant access to that group.

Your Answer is not clear. The same steps were followed as you have mentioned. Created group of 9 users and then in edit permissions in space entered that group. Now to restrict access to those users?? By default, have to give VIEW permissions and that gives the access to that space which we do not want to achieve.

Do you want to give access to those 9 users or do you want to restrict them from accessing the space ?
1. If you want to give them access, just add the group with those 9 users & remove every other user/group from the permissions.
2. If you want to restrict those 9 users from accessing the space, create a separate group excluding those 9 users & add that group to the permissions.
Please note : Users gets access to space only if they are added as individual user or part of group which is mentioned in relevant Space permission section, also by default they get view access. If the user or group is not in the space permission that means they dont have access to space or any content in the space.
I hope its clear now.

Hi,
In confluence permission are manage by each space, so you just need to go to the specific space and give to those users the right permission.
