A calendar has been deleted form our site. It was accidentally not exported prior and we're wondering if it is possible to restore it somehow as it is very important.
Thank you!
To anyone who needs help with this - You can follow Daniel's advice if my solution which is quicker is not an option for you. You cannot restore the calendar unless you have a back up of the calendar itself.
BUT Contacting a user/staff member who was watching that calendar should do it. They should have received a copy of the calendar as Atlassian (luckily) sends everyone watching the calendar a copy of the deleted calendar. Once they send it to you, you should be able to download and import that file! Hope this helps.
Hi Hilda,
Unfortunately there's not a recovery option for calendars in Team Calendars. A feature request was opened for such a thing, but eventually was closed due to limited interest.
One thing that comes to mind is database backups - if your database is backed up on a regular basis, it would be possible to restore the data (via database backup) to a staging/development Confluence instance and export the calendar from the other instance. A couple things to note are that you'll want to ensure mail is disabled for any instance you set up for recovery and that the base URL in Confluence itself will need to be changed after restoration, as that value for Confluence is stored in the database.
Cheers,
Daniel

Thank you Daniel! That was the option we were going for actually but another option seemed to work faster with much less to do! I posted it in the comments!
