I have a general question about system organization.
I'd like to use Confluence to organize Projects.
Project is usual consists with some documents in PDF format, decisions and meeting notes.
So, should I use Space as a Project holder?
How to configure create File List template? I'd like to add FileList to Space template with predefined directory structure and group based access levels. Is it possible?
Maybe my approach is wrong?
At my current assignment, we have one Confluence Space and one JIRA project correlating to one "software project." We created a space "template" and then exported it to XML. Then import as a new space and associate with another JIRA project (this will change the space key when importing, since you can not have two spaces with the same key.)
There will still be updates to make in the new space - change the space name immediately!!! Any macros that are configured to point to a space will need to be updated to the new space key.
