I understand I can obtain a token here:

https://id.atlassian.com/manage-profile/security/api-tokens

But will this token be visible when I trying to access my own company's wiki?

Looking at this curl cmd:

curl --request GET \ --url 'https://your-domain.atlassian.net/wiki/rest/api/content/{id}/restriction' \ --user 'email@example.com:<api_token>' \ --header 'Accept: application/json'

What if my domain doesn't live on atlassian.net?

Here is the error message I see:

Basic Authentication Failure - Reason : AUTHENTICATED_FAILED

Doesn't seem like my company email and API token obtained from atlassian.com work

Hi @Roman  If you are using self hosted Confluene instance (Confluence Datacenter) then please follow the below document to for how to generate a API token in self hosted instance

https://confluence.atlassian.com/enterprise/using-personal-access-tokens-1026032365.html

The token generated from https://id.atlassian.com/manage-profile/security/api-tokens is used in Cloud version and not in Datacenter one.
