Hi. There is only a subset of employees within our organization who have Product access (License) to Confluence. I want to make a Confluence space, that has a lot of useful wikis, to be available in Read-only format to all employees in our organization irrespective of whether they have the Product access or not. how do go about this? Thanks in advance for your help.
Hi @Hariharan Y
We're using the Scroll Viewport app to create internal documentation center which is available to anyone who's included in our SAML SSO setup.
The way it works is that you define the content (Space) that you want to appear in the Viewport site.
You define your custom domain for the Viewport site, then set up your SSO. That way, your content will be made available to people in your company who are using your SSO - no matter if they have a Confluence seat or not.
At the same time, your Confluence space will remain private (no anonymous access needed).
We are also using this method to publish the documentation from our Confluence space for the rest of the company to view. This has the added benefit that these readers do not see changes to the pages until we are ready to publish them to the Viewport site.

You can try the following if it works for you:
You can try to set the Confluence global setting to: anonymous = NOT allowed. Then no one from the outside can access your Confluence instance. Then set an individual space to anonymous access, your unlicensed users can now have free access to this Confluence space.
However also users with an Atlassian account outside of your organization can access the space.

@Hariharan Y Adding to this, if you want the space that is made public to appear neat and brand conform, in typical marketing fashion, I would suggest Spacecraft, an app on the atlassian marketplace. Here is how it would look: https://spacecraft.wikipage.io/

The largest problem is that search functionality does not work for unlicensed users. https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/AI-900

Hi,
Based on the requirements, there is an effective solution to make Confluence content available to all employees, regardless of whether they have a Confluence license.
You can use miniOrange's Secure Share plugin to share your Confluence space with unlicensed users securely. This plugin allows you to generate secure links that can be accessed by anyone, even if they don't have a Confluence license. These links provide read-only access to the shared space, ensuring that your content remains secure while being easily accessible dynamically.
Here are some key features of the Secure Share plugin that can help you:
This makes it a highly cost-effective way to share valuable Confluence content across your organization while keeping everything secure.
Please feel free to book demo using this link!
