I have Confluence pages with wide tables.
After migrating to 'new editor' the pages are not displayed in full width possible in my browser. Adding to the problem: if the table has a sufficient number of rows, no horizontal scrollbar is displayed.

Hi @Frank Schindler - welcome to the community!
While in edit mode, do you have the icon that looks like the one in the red box in this image? It appears at the very top of the page next to the breadcrumbs that show where you are. By clicking these arrows, you will be moved from Fixed-width, which it looks like you are in to Full-width.
Here is an article that shows when they released this feature! https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-discussions/Full-width-mode-is-now-available-for-the-new-editor-in/td-p/1138727
