How to log in as another user in Confluence (Data center)

Nidhi Telang May 18, 2018

I have found link where it shows -  how to login as another user. But it is for Atlassian cloud.

https://confluence.atlassian.com/cloud/log-in-as-another-user-776994835.html

Can someone please help with the process/steps to log in as another user in atlassian confluence data center?

Thanks

In Atlassian Cofluence data center - you can log in as another user

Note : One should have administration rights

1. Go to Administration

2. Under script runner section -> Built-in scripts

3. You will find - "Switch to a different user"

Thanks

Hi Nidhi,

This doesn't work in Confluence by default. It does require the user of a 3rd-party add-on called Scriptrunner.

Hello Nidhi,

This feature only exists for Cloud instances.

I was able to find a feature request that's open below for the same on Server and Data Center:

My recommendation would be to comment there with your use case and vote on it in order to show your support for such a feature.

Let us know if you have any questions!

Regards,

Shannon
