How to locate wiki tasks on a page? Edited

I've started using wiki tasks and task reports recently but it is sometimes hard for people to locate the task on the target page. Are there any techniques to make it easier for people to find a task in-situ, as opposed to the listing in the task report?

Possible solutions:

  • Include a link to the closest header or anchor in the task description
  • Use some type of search syntax to locate tasks on a page
  • Just tell people to search for their name on the page

I ended up going with door #1 - link to the closest header. It works well but I sometimes need to insert anchors to get it to display correctly. thanks for the support!
