I'm trying to link to a specific cell or line in an embedded table. I've used the Anchor macro to create an anchor in a cell, but trying to create a link with the URL#anchor format doesn't seem to bring up the anchor location, only the top of the page.
There is a bug with this if you have a floating header for the table. The link to the anchor works in that the row is displayed, however as soon as the row is displayed the header will be displayed on top of it.
A lot less than ideal. There is a workaround using custom CSS but I don't have permissions to apply the fix.
Hi Marc
To reference an anchor in Confluence we don't need the URL but the relevant page name or space key. As, the following article states.
For example if you create an anchor1 in a page page1.
You can reference it as
page1#anchor1
Similarly to reference anchors in a different space, space key is also required at the beginning.
I have tested this functionality and it works for tables as well.
Thanks,
Hassan

Hi,
I placed anchor on Column 2 of say row 5 in a table. The anchor link works but it goes to row 6 in the table obscuring the desired row 5.
what am I doing wrong?
TIA

Should it still work in a filtered table?
Can't get this to work for me.
Normal anchors work...
I mean to me its clear, that once using the filter, this might be pretty difficult to do.
But if I still have the pure table unfiltered (but placed within a filter macro),
a anchor to a row could still be made working no?
