I'm confused because the now crowd is 'embedded' in Confluence. So, what would it be the way of integrating Confluence to Google Apps. Would I need to run Crowd, integrate it with Confluence and then integrated it with Google Apps.
Is this integration SSO only or I could have my Google Docs available in Confluence too?
Hey Luzia, it's been a long time!
To configure Google Apps with Crowd requires the full version of Crowd, (not just the embedded version that's now bundled with the Confluence), and only allows you to configure an SSO solution that doesn't include embedding Google Docs, in the same way you can with JIRA Studio/OnDemand.
However, AppFusions have developed a commercial plugin for Confluence and Google Docs, which you can check out here: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.appfusions.confluence.google.confluence-google-docs
They also specialise in SSO solutions, so if this is something you're configuring somewhere, (and they have the budget to engage an Atlassian Expert), then it might be worth engaging AppFusions to advise on possible solutions for this kind of deployment.
All the best,
John
Thank you, John! I don't know why I took so long to see your answer.
My goal for 2013 is to take vacation in Europe! Be ready :)

This plugin is alive, well, and supported since 2012 (and ongoing...)
