How to install plugin in OnDemand

Emile van den Ende January 4, 2012

Hi,

The manual states that the OnDemand environment does not allow to install plugins on your own. Now I can understand that.

Is there a way to get a plugin installed on this environment anyway? I do not need to do it myself, but I just need someone to do this.

To be specific, I am interested in getting the "copy space" plugin for confluence.

Thanks in advance!

Cheers,

Emile

Hi Emile, judging by the reply from Atlassian to a similar question - https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/24602/can-atlassian-support-install-user-macros-to-a-confluence-ondemand-instance - it looks like there is a complete lockdown on plugins at the moment and the only plugins that are available are those documented at https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/AOD/Atlassian+OnDemand+Plugin+Policy It might be worth contacting support@atlassian.com to get the copy space plugin on their radar for OnDemand, but there are no guarantees that they will install it. Not what you wanted to hear, but I hope this is of some help. Andrew
