How to insert an Image URL?


With the new editing experience I cannot find how to insert an image url? Where did it go? Theres an option for Giphy, Google Drive, Drop box. But no URL option?

This feature (adding a link to an image) is not available in the new editor yet. This has requested here:

Please 'watch' and 'vote' for this request.

This appears to be a critical oversight. Rendering and displaying an image URL is a table-stake feature for professional grade collaboration applications.

Open the page in edit mode, type / and search for 'Link'.


Click on Link macro. Put the URL in the first text field and the text to display in the second one and click enter.

I need the url  to render and display as an image, not as text.  

See attached screenshot. Is this no longer supported?
