I am trying to publish pages with templates to confluence using REST API. I was able to publish a page with template by using the existing page template "storage" content. The problem here is to update the metadata field from API. We are using "Metadata for Confluence by Communardo" add-on for configuring our metadata.

The page with a template I published should have the metadata configured. All this should be done from REST API.  I would appreciate any help with this. Thanks.

Hello Chandra Dan,

Thank you for your question.

What our Rest API endpoint provides is the possibility to search for Confluence content and its metadata. As you raised a parallel support request, we will provide detailed information on the usage there.

As for your initial question, we only have a read-only REST API available at the moment.

Currently, an API write access is not part of Metadata for Confluence.

However, we have already received this request and agree that it is a great improvement for our app. We have voted for it on your behalf over here:
https://jira.communardo.de/browse/METADATA-331

I hope this answer as well as the details on the support issue are of help to you!

Kind regards,

Almuth

@Almuth Boehme _Communardo_ hi, is this still the latest statement from Communardo for availability of REST APIs? Is that valid for Cloud?
