Hi,
I was just testing the new Whiteboards for Confluence and was wondering, if there is a good way to migrate existing boards from Miro to be used in Confluence?
For me, this is a major obstacle to tackle before using Whiteboards exclusively, since I have a lot of content in Miro already and don't want to start from scratch in Confluence
Has anyone else tested Whiteboards and already managed to somehow migrate an entire Miro board to Whiteboards?
Hi @Philip Kroos - TEAM XALT we do have plans in the first half of the next calendar year to start providing importers from other tools.
Is there some where to watch on the progress of this importer release?
Thank you!

Hi @Emilie Rochedy ,
now we're way into 'first half of the next calendar year' - can you share any news with that regard - even if it's just a feature request to watch in Jira.
Thank you!

Hey everybody, many things are happening as we speak :) to get the exact timing https://support.atlassian.com/organization-administration/docs/keep-up-with-atlassian-changes-to-products/ or https://www.atlassian.com/wac/roadmap/cloud/Confluence-Whiteboards-General-Availability?selectedProduct=confluence&p=40f3cf05-ca

Having an importer tool is something we need to have to move forward with potentially coming off Miro - we are on a tight time line for this (end of July) other wise we would have to wait another year till our Miro licence comes round again. Can you advise when this is coming as the above links do not actually help with this question.
Please and thanks
Helen

Hi Helen, are you able to share whether you were in the Beta group for Whiteboard or maybe a free site? Have you been able to try it already? In general, I would expect to hear more from early April (but don't quote me on this :) I am basing this on the Q2 timeline announced) I would recommend getting close to your account team or partner, they will be able to help assess the potential migration timelines.

I just stumbled upon this as I was also looking for a way to migrate a miro board to Whiteboard. Any update on this or at least a ticket to watch?
Cheery,
paul

Hi @Paul Pasler - we met a long time ago in our Stuttgart office ... anyways, here's the docs https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/import-miro-boards-in-confluence-whiteboards/
Short answer: unsupported, you can import images ...

Hi @Philip Kroos - TEAM XALT ,
Not tested Whiteboards yet but I used to export Miro boards as pdf or csv ... maybe you can import those back in whiteboards ?

I'd be happy to get any confirmation from the Community if that function is available.
