How to implement the kudo system in jira or confluence

So, I've been hearing (and reading old 2010 blog) about a Kudo's system in Jira you can setup.

But, I cannot seem to find the workflow they used for that.

I really want to start using a Kudo's for employees system in our company.

Can someone help me? I heared about a plugin maybe?
