How to give a Confluence user admin access

I have a user that needs to have admin access to a Confluence space so that she can change the permissions in the space.  I checked the admin setting under Space, but she is not able to make changes.

I read somewhere that if a user is in a group, that setting could override the separate admin setting.  She is in the group that is circled, so I changed it to checked.  That did not work either.

Am I changing the correct setting to give her access?  Is there another setting I must change?

Hi @Monica Collins

Looks like you are in the correct settings. See if you can log in as the user and you can replicate it.

The next step would be to contact atlassian support.

How do I go about logging in as the user?  What are the steps?  I found this page.  I set up a userid, but I don't know how to enter in my Jira and Confluence sites.  Are there better instructions?

Hi Monica,

The instructions are for cloud. Try this for server:

https://confluence.cprime.io/plugins/servlet/mobile?contentId=51448785#content/view/51448785

Install it for free and give it a try.

But the best would be to talk to the the user to find out what the problem is.  Do other users experience the same issue as her with the same space permissions?
