How to get expand macro to automatically open when there is an inline comment

I have a table that is expandable through the "other macros" tools. When colleagues put inline comments within these expandable tables and I try to view those comments, the tables don't automatically expand, so it is difficult to find what the comment is referencing. How can I fix this?

There's not yet a feature to automatically open the Expand macro in any case, but there's an existing feature request for it:

• CONFCLOUD-27077 Option to display expand macro expanded/collapsed on page load

I've commented there (internally) with your usage case and a link to this question, but please feel free to do the same! If you vote on the request it helps us to keep track of the number of users who are interested in such a feature.
