How to get Epic Progress (issue count) in a Confluence page

Pier Nicolò August 12, 2024

Hi everyone,

My company has both Jira and Confluence Cloud.

I am trying to create a report in confluence, using the /jira issue macro, but I am not able to find the field "Progress (issue count)" which is usually shown in Jira Plan.

Any advice on how to do that?

Thanks

Hi @Pier Nicolò ,

Judging by your tags the question is related to the Advanced Roadmaps app, if I've got it right. If it is so, maybe its better to reach to their support directly.

Here (and we are also a vendor) we find related questions manually and some of them can be easily missed.

If I'm wrong, please describe your use case a bit more for other Community members to help.

Hi @Stiltsoft support

Thanks for your answer.

I am not sure if this is more related to Confluence or Advanced Roadmap.

What I am trying to do is to build a report in Confluence, using the /jira macro.

After writing my JQL query, I do have the chance to add or remove some columns, but I am not able to find anything related to the Progress (issue count) of the Epic itself.

I attached a screenshot to clarify

If you think this has to be tagged with a different product or asked to another support, please let me know

Thank you

As I see it, in Confluence you can use the standard Jira/Jira Legacy macros to display your issues as a list depending on the JQL and insert the Jira Chart macro (maybe you'll be able to display your issues as a pie chart grouped by statuses - that's how you may track your progress).

And there are also different apps that support the Jira macro and may help you to create different kinds of charts - for example, ours that is Table Filter, Charts & Spreadsheets for Confluence. Here are several examples of what you can do in Confluence using the standard Jira macro and our app.

But if you have some other app to amplify your standard Jira macro (if the Advanced Roadmap is not a standard Jira feature by Atlassian but some 3rd party app/macro with a similar name designed for Confluence) and the question is how to do it with their app, its better to reach to their support directly.
