We have created wiki pages as a blank confluence page having only a title, then attaching a Word document with the wiki contents and embedding it into the confluence page using the "Office Word" macro. The Word document contains a Table of Contents (TOC). Any time you use a Confluence search macro or click on the wiki's TOC, the "focus" will navigate to a position one line further in the page than desired. For example, if you have heading called "15. Some Heading" and the line following is "This is the first line..." and then you click on the TOC for "15. Some Heading", it will navigate down to "This is the first line..." and scroll the actual "15. Some Heading" off the page. It's like Confluence is not accounting for a menu line at the top of the screen and "thinks" it's displaying the desired content correctly. Kind of like it's telling itself to "scroll down to the search target line and display it where the first line is displayed offscreen". If you scroll up one line, you will be at your targeted position. This behavior functions the same way for text searches from Confluence search macros or for the TOC within the Word document. Is there a solution for this?
@Ben Wittmeier Welcome to the Atlassian community
I am not aware of any way to fix the issue. Is it functioning the same in all browsers?
Yes.
