How to find the last login for users in confluence cloud

Vikram Kuruba May 27, 2020

We would like to strictly manage the licenses for the users and deactivate any inactive ones. How do I find the list of users and their last login in confluence cloud?

Here is what I do.

  1. go to the User management section under Administration
  2. search for users by product = Confluence and status of Active
  3. export the list and open in Excel
  4. sort by last login and draw the line where you want. I generally do two things. First I look for individuals that have not logged in for say 120 days and I simply deactivate them. A second list of those between 120 and 90 days I send an email to inquire as to whether they truly need access or not.
