I have created a Confluence page with multiple JIRA links which have been added as URLs and converted to "smart" links, which is great.
In Confluence I get to see the description of the JIRA Issue as well as the current Status.
However, when I export the Confluence page as either PDF or Word, the majority of links are exported as URLs and this is not what I need. I'm not at all bothered what the JIRA URL is, what I need to see is the Issue Description and Status.
The image shows the Confluence page at the top and what the same section of page looks like when exported to PDF. Some information redacted.
Is there a way I can achieve what I need, without having to resort to taking screenshots of the page?
I am not able to create the issue you are having. When I add links to Jira they all export the way you would like to see them. Is the page you used in the example imported from Confluence server or was it created using the old editor? If you update the link or re-add it does it change how it is exported?
Hi Brant, thanks for your response. The page wasn't imported from Confluence server, and I don't think it was created using the old editor (although I'm not sure how to check).
I took your advice and for the links which weren't rendering in the PDF, I deleted them and re-added them. They are now behaving as I wanted them to.
Thanks for your help.

I am also having this issue and deleting / re-adding the URLs does not work.
This is a big issue when exporting to provide status updates to clients.
The top half always works, the bottom half always displays incorrectly in the export.
This only started happening about 4 months ago; previous exports looked great.
