For the tasks assigned with @someone in the meeting minutes, is there a way to enable auto reminder to the task owners one day before the next meeting?

Currently, reminders for tasks are not a feature in Confluence.
This is the description of the Tasks/Action items in Confluence Cloud:
Action items - Add action items by using the Action items button in the toolbar and mentioning another user. Whoever you first mention on that line is assigned the action item. Assigning someone an action item looks like this:
Items like this show up on Dan Morgan’s tasks list under his profile, and he can tick them off as he does them. The due dates turn red if they become overdue. He can also filter them by date, completion, and whether they were assigned to him or created by him from here. If he'd prefer to see these on another page, he can also use the Task Report Macro.

Has there been any progress in enabling an auto reminder facility for tasks as originally requested.

We have been asking the same question too; it seems that there isn't yet such feature enabled.
