We have stored large size video files on Microsoft share point and I want to embed them in confluence just like we do with YouTube videos.
Is it possible to do it?
If yes then please provide the answer to it.
Thank you,
Sagar
I think it’s possible to embed SharePoint videos in Confluence. First, get the embed code for the video from SharePoint by selecting the video, clicking on the three dots (…), and choosing the 'Embed' option. Copy the embed code and use Confluence’s HTML macro to paste it. If the HTML macro isn’t enabled, you might need admin assistance to activate it. This should display your SharePoint video in Confluence seamlessly.
You can embed a video just using Confluences own widget for an old technology called "iframe"
Start within the video page on sharepoint and choose "share" and "embed code"
copy the code it creates and put it in your favorite text editing tool
this code contains all the information the iframe widget might need
embed the widget in you page by when editing the confluence page clicking the plus sign and searching for widget
then from the code you got earlier that take the URL (page address), it starts "https" and ends ".create"
and paste it into the URL box, whilst there are other parameters you can set, URL is the only one that is needs
💡 One extra little tip is if sharepoint has transcribed the video, save that text as a word doc then from there copy the text into a "quote" box in confluence, this will mean anyone searching confluence for words used in the video will find your page.

Hi Vronik,
Thank you for your reply. However, the Microsoft Stream plug in that you mentioned is for cloud and our company uses confluence datacenter.
