Hi @Vinod ,
We can also suggest trying our app that is Table Filter and Charts for Confluence.
Please check the Table Spreadsheet macro - seems it should cover your case.
Hi @Katerina Kovriga _Stiltsoft_ ,
I really like the Table Filter and Charts app. But if I'm not mistaking, it doesn't do what Vinod is looking for. Nor does the Table Spreadsheet macro.
Any Excel sheet will still not be editable straight form the Page. Unless you convert the Excel into the spreadsheet which is native to the App. But in that case it won't be an Excel sheet anymore...
Or am I unaware of some features of the app?

Hi @Rik de Valk ,
The Table Spreadsheet macro allows you to upload existing .xlsx/.csv file to your Confluence instance and/or create a new spreadsheet from the draft.
This spreadsheet has all the Excel features (cell formulas, pivot tables, conditional formatting, etc.) and you will be able to edit it from the page view mode.
The spreadsheet is embedded on the page, you navigate to the page, edit the spreadsheet from the page view mode, save the changes and your data is updated. You don't need to download the attachment, edit it and upload back to Confluence.
If later you need this document outside of Confluence, you may export it as .xlsx/.csv as well.

Right. So you start with an Excel sheet, you import it into a Spreadsheet Table. That will allow you to edit the Spreadsheet Table straight from the Confluence page.
But when you need it as an Excel file, you'll have to export it to XLSX format again.
So you're not actually editing the Excel file; but you can start and end with an Excel file.
But it still might meet the requirements though....

Yes, you are right - the main question is where the user wants to keep his/her data. Our workaround is oriented more to keep everything in one place (that is Confluence) and to use the Excel functionality right in Confluence.

Hi @Vinod , I don't know all apps obviously, but the Team Files does what you want. There are probably other apps that can do the same.

Our app, Polaris spreadsheet allows you to embed an existing excel files in a confluence page and directly edit it.
It offers full editing capabilities for excel files and provides an advanced view mode that allows you to use filters, scroll, and find. Please check the details.

Hi @Vinod
Addteq's Excellentable helps you edit the attached files directly in confluence.
Here is the documentation , hope this helps.
