How to delete task on My Task list that no longer exists on a page

I use the Task list (Confluence Tasks) to organize my assigned tasks.  I have a task that's listed on the Task page that no longer exists on the originating page.  How do I get rid of it on my Task page?

Hello Scott,

Thank you for contacting us. I'm aware of an issue that causes this due to duplicate tasks being listed:

• CONFCLOUD-62685 Duplicate Tasks in Reports

It's likely that the original task was already unchecked and the duplicate still exists there. To workaround it, you'll need to create a copy of that page and then delete the original. Alternatively, you can raise a ticket with the Support team and we can manually remove them for you from the database.
