How to delete a Confluence Knowledge base Page

Mike Button November 17, 2022

I am a JIRA site admin, and trying to delete a page under the Confluence Knowledge base and I can not figure out how/where to do this. I have searched various areas but no luck, I believe I have to change a setting somewhere but can't find out where/what - any advice?

Hi @Mike Button ,

in order to delete a knowledge base page, you need to have permission to access and delete pages on confluence side. Please ask to your site admin to provide you those permissions.

Hello @Mike Button

It seems like you don't have "delete pages" permission for this page under the confluence space.

You can add this pemission by follow this steps:

  • Go to Jira project > Knowledge base
  • Choose your article. Your space will appear in the right side, click on it.
  • Under the space, click "Space Settings"
  • You are here now

  • Click General and add the "delete page" permission directly to you under "Individual Users" or via a group in which you are a member.
  • You can delete the page now

Seif,
