How to define meta descriptions for google

Im having difficulties, adding meta descriptions to my confluence pages. Where do i do that and how ? All the information i've read isn't clear.

You can edit via source mode and add the tags manually.

Several Marketplace addons make it easier to add meta tags, if you don't want to add them manually.
