Hi everyone,

I know how to create new child pages in a space on Confluence, but I'd like to create a new parent page and I'm unsure how to go about this. I want to create a new parent page to store some older documents under and label it "Archive." I know how to move pages from one parent to another...but I can't figure out how to create a parent page from scratch.

@Kat Figurelli

Welcome to the Community. Last time I did this I created a new page, and in the Space Settings change the home page location:

After you do that however, you need to configure the page tree to have the old documents under them

This is, from my experience easiest to do from the content tools section for changing home pages, under Reorder PagesScreen Shot 2021-03-05 at 1.53.43 PM.png
