How to copy text OUT of Confluence and keep linebreaks?

Hi, I have a Confluence page which instructs a user how to complete a form in another system.
The Confluence page includes a template for details which the user completes, e.g. -

Environment:  

Server:  

Drive:  

Folder:  

Type of access:  

When I copy this FROM the Confluence page into the form, it shows as this:
Environment:   Server:   Drive:   Folder:   Type of access:  

Where have the line breaks gone?

Can they be retained?

Need to publish the page to keep the line breaks.
I was copying out while in Edit mode.
