Hi,
We got a request from a user that they want to copy the content from excel sheet into confluence.
They would like to copy the content from approx. 12 different Excel files and have the content pasted into Confluence.
Is it achievable?
Please share your inputs.
Hi @Sowmiya and welcome to the Community
Just copy and paste the 'table' from an excel spreadsheet right onto a Confluence page.
Confluence will automatically create a table. I actually do this on regular basis.
Mind... if the original excel table is complex (random merged cells, formulas etc., it will not be a perfect match.
It's important to bear in mind that Excel is a dedicated spreadsheet tool.
Hi @Sowmiya ,
If you are open to 3rd party apps, we can suggest trying the app that we develop - Table Filter, Charts & Spreadsheets for Confluence.
With the help of our Table Spreadsheet macro you'll be able to import your existing data in xlsx/csv formats and continue to work with it using all the familiar Excel-like features (cell-formulas, filtration, conditional formatting, etc.).
Please book a call with our team - we'll able to show you everything live.

Hello @Sowmiya
If you’re seeking for an easy way to copy content from excel sheets in your Confluence page, you can try our app Elements Spreadsheet that provides powerful and ready-to-use project tables for data management.
You can check our documentation here.
The app is for free during 30 days (and it stays free under 10 users).
Kind regards,
Clara
