How to configure announcements on home page

Hello all,

Do you know how to configure announcements on the homepage in Confluence Cloud? I'm talking about the Announcements section under Discover What's Happening. I'd like to know how to add, edit, and delete them.

I know there's a feature where the administrator can post an announcement banner - that's not what I mean.

Any help is appreciated!

It's hidden in the Global Templates and Blueprints.

An administrator can also modify the message through settings.

Select the wheel icon () in the top-right corner to open Confluence administration.

Select Global Templates and Blueprints.

Scroll down to System Templates and locate the Default Welcome Message.

Select Edit.

Add your content, then select Save.

Thank you, @Shawn Doyle - ReleaseTEAM ! I'm not a Site Admin, so I can't do this, but I can now point my Site Admin to the instructions. Very NOT intuitive that you would go to the Global Templates and Blueprints for this feature.

You are very welcome @Barbara Szczesniak I believe there used to be a button to allow you to customize this on the actual announcement page, however, I don't see it either. Yet the instructions do mention it as the first method.

Such is the world we live in now with SaaS products, documentation never keeps up with the products.  I did test the Global Templates and Blueprints before I answered, so it "worked on my desktop" :)

@Shawn Doyle - ReleaseTEAM As the person who documents my company's software, I am well aware that the documentation never keeps up with the product. 🤣 I also attend grooming, refinement, and sprint planning meetings, so I know everything we're changing—I'm just still trying to finish writing the first draft for review before I go back and update everywhere we've changed since I wrote that part. 🤦‍♀️

Do you mean "Edit Feed"

It allows you to limit which spaces and which users will show up in the DISCOVER WHAT'S HAPPENING section.

It is in the Discover What's Happening section. When I hit Edit Feed, the window doesn't reveal much, and it doesn't let me edit the announcements.
