How to change the original author of a page?

Employee has left the company yet their picture and name remain on most pages. How do I remove or replace the author of all pages?

But wouldn't it make sense to keep them for auditing reasons? Just because someone is no longer with the company doesn't mean they didn't do those actions.

To save you reading the link, the answer boils down to "don't".  It involves hacking the database and destroying your audit information, which really doesn't sound good to any compliance or regulator type people.
