Hi,

Our team want use confluence to build a knowledge base and we got some problems.

1.How to calculate how many pages each contributor created?

I tried Contributor Summary Macro, it seem that I can only see how many times one contributor edits or the pages' name one contributor edited. We just want to see how many pages each contributor created, like Michalle created 10 pages, emily created 5 pages.

2. Could I rate these pages by the count of like the page?
e.g
How to solve ...?  10 likes
5 ways to ...  5 likes
Because we want to find the most useful articles, is there any other metrics we can use?

Thanks in advance!

Hello @Bowen Li ,

As Brant mentioned, there are several apps in the Marketplace that can be considered for your use cases.

Our Viewtracker app, for example, offers the Content & Usage Report to quickly and easily find the most popular content. In addition, the Users section offers the function you want to see per user how much and which content they have viewed, created, changed, or commented on.

To your 2nd use case. In the cloud, "reactions" are now added to Confluence pages and no longer just "likes". Since all these emojis have different meanings, a simple and meaningful evaluation is currently not possible. Respectively, if only thumbs-ups were counted as likes, all other positive reactions would not be included in the analysis.

Best regards,

Mattia

Thanks @Brant Schroeder for mentioning eazyBI app for Confluence.

@Bowen Li here you can check eazyBI app demo reports to see what analytics you can get with the app: https://docs.eazybi.com/plugins/servlet/eazybi/accounts/6/dashboards/10-author-activity

And here you can read about different metrics eazyBI offer out-of-the-box for the report creation (page views, page likes and others): https://docs.eazybi.com/eazybi/data-import/data-from-confluence/confluence-measures-and-dimensions

@Bowen Li If you upgrade to premium you can get information through analytics https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/view-analytics-to-see-how-content-is-performing/    On standard there are apps that you can get that will provide insights as well and can be found in the marketplace.  https://marketplace.atlassian.com/search?hosting=cloud&product=confluence&query=analytics   You can also use the app easybi to create more robust reports https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1219504/eazybi-reports-and-charts-for-confluence?hosting=cloud&tab=overview
