How to I Add an External user to a new Confluence Space

Been trying to add an external user to access a single Confulence Space -- but I don't see a way to do it.

I've added the (external, non google) user, and I have granted that user permission on the confluence space, but when I login as that user, absolutely nothing appears.

I'm running into the same issue. My external user can access JIRA, but not the Confluence Space. I don't have appropriate permissions to view the "Steps" you've listed Abdoulaye.
