Hello everyone,
I’m working on a Confluence page that contains a table with run books for various platforms. The idea is for different teams to be able to copy only the specific sections or rows they need from this table, rather than copying the entire template.
Is there a way to make it easier for teams to select and copy only the relevant bits from the table?
Ideally, I’d like to make this process as straightforward as possible, without them having to manually select and copy each part.
Any tips or solutions would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance for your help.
Hi @Maeva Vinet ,
We can suggest trying our app that is Table Filter, Charts & Spreadsheets for Confluence and its Table Spreadsheet macro.
As I see it, you may keep your data in the Table Spreadsheet macro. It will be more neat than native Confluence tables if your table is big. And you will also have all the Excel-like features (cell formatting, filtration, conditional formatting, etc.).
So, each team will be able to filter out the relevant rows and copy them.
Or they may use the Table Spreadsheet Include macro, reuse the original table in their space and use the filter on top to show only relevant data. Once you update the source table, their reused filtered tables will be updated as well.
If you are not familiar with the app, please book a live demo with the team - we'll be able to discuss your use cases.
Hey @Maeva Vinet ,
As mentioned by John, separating pages will be one option and it can be designed in a pretty flexible way:
This way you will get the following picture:
Another option will be to have separate table per platform on the same page. You can add headers above them and share anchor links, so the team, who will need to access particular table will be navigated right to it by following the link. You can also use separate layout sections for these tables.
Finally, you can use Iota Copy plugin to copy the content from Confluence in one click and send it in the email, paste it to Word or for the other use case you may have. It will work great with both options provided above.

Hi Maeva - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
I don't believe you will be able to do this with permissions other than having separate pages and granting permissions to the page.
