Hello all
I'm looking for a way to insert a page (which is templated checklist) from one confluence space into another confluence space.
I'm a space admin in both, but I find I can only select pages from within the same space to use the 'insert page' macro.
I'd like to avoid duplication and manage the template in one space and reference it out by embedding it into other space pages.
Any suggestions, is it possible with a higher level of access?
Many thanks
Belinda
welcome to the community!
Please check if the info from Insert the include page macro | Confluence Cloud | Atlassian Support does help.
This has the hint "If the page or blog post is located in another space, add the space key and a colon in front of the page name. For example, DOC:My page name. The space key is case sensitive."
Regards,
Harald

Hi @Belinda Walton ,
You mention that you have a templated checklist. If you're open to apps, didit Checklists for Confluence might meet your needs (btw I work for the company behind the app).
You can manage checklists outside of pages, and then insert them onto a new page or embed them in a space or global template so any time someone uses the template the checklist will be included. You'll avoid having the maintain a checklist in multiple spaces since the didit hub is independent from the Confluence spaces.
For example, here is a space template I'm editing and selecting a pre-configured checklist to be displayed with the didit checklist macro.
You can turn off editing for didit checklists if you don't want users to be able to change what's in the checklist once it's on the Confluence page.
