How much storage we have for our confluence cloud?

Luda Baklanova May 21, 2018

I need to find out how much storage we have for our confluence company space, maybe we can have breakdown on what we have used and what is left? Are there any options to add more storage if needed?

Thank you!

Hi Luda,

We don't have reports of how much space you are using, but we also don't usually suspend an instance based on storage. We don't have an option to increase the storage.

Please let me refer you to our Atlassian Cloud storage policy:

Can I track my disk usage on Atlassian Cloud?
It's not currently possible to track disk usage in Confluence or Jira products.

What will happen if I exceed my storage limit?
If your Atlassian Cloud instance exceeds the storage limit, your instance will not be suspended, except in extreme circumstances, and we will not remove any data. If you exceed your storage limit by a small amount, and you're storing acceptable types of data, your products will continue to work (large video files are an example of an unacceptable attachment data type). If you exceed the limit by a large amount, we'll email your technical contact and offer help to reduce disk usage by archiving old Confluence or Jira product attachments.

Can I increase my storage limit?
Currently it isn't possible to increase your Atlassian Cloud storage limit.

Thanks,

Ann

Hi @Luda Baklanova just wanted to share that we've increased the storage limit for both Jira Cloud products and Confluence Cloud from 25GB to 250GB, regardless of user tier.

If you have both Confluence and Jira, each has its own 250GB storage limit (note that all Jira family products have a combined storage limit).

Storage is primarily made up of:

  • Attachments from Jira products
  • Confluence attachments

It’s also important to know that storage limits in Cloud are not currently enforced. We are currently revising our storage policy in Cloud and will roll out more options for purchasing additional storage, along with enforcing the limits sometime in 2019. We will notify customers in advance before we roll out these changes.

If your Atlassian Cloud products exceed the storage limit, your instance will not be suspended, except in extreme circumstances, and we will not remove any data. If you exceed your storage limit by a small amount, and you're storing acceptable types of data, your products will continue to work.

That's great!

@JessieThat's means that storage limit for confluence cloud will no less than 250 GB no matter what the final storage policy will be?

If so, that would be quite great!

Jessie April 17, 2019

@Di Chen that's correct!

@Jessie  Thanks!
