The page is still listed on the Global Space list but when clicked on, says deleted (I wanted to delete it but its still listed on the Global Spaces). Thanks.
So this means that the only way to delete the Global Space entry in the Global Space list is to send a request to the confluence-administrator requesting the action? I'm fine with that, just wanted to be sure that solves my problem.
Thanks for the quick responses, by the way - I really appreciate it!
I just figured it out. I restored the page and now, being the space administrator for that space, I was able to access Space Admin and "remove space". I clearly did not delete it correctly the first time.

Can you get to the "space admin" link for this page? If so, then you would delete the space from there.

I saw that in the help doc but, no, I can't figure out how to get to it. I understand its supposed to be an option in the "browse" drop down, but I don't see it.

I should add that I do have the fullset of privileges that I think I can give myself as the administrator for this account.

If you are not a space admin, you must be in the confluence-administrators group to see that option. That is a special group and giving your self all the permissions is not enough.
