We are in the process of migrating our content from Confluence Server to Confluence Cloud. Since we are using a few different apps on Cloud to what we had on Server, we have pages that will contain unknown-macro errors once migrated.
Is there a simple way to retrieve a list of all pages that contain unknown-macro errors so that the page owners can replace those with macros provided in the Cloud instance?
Hi Gareth, I found your question as I am struggling with something similar. I don't know if this helps you, but in my case, the 'unknown macro' errors that we have seen are all linked to User Macros (user created). I have since read that confluence on cloud does not support UMs, which explains why they were not migrated. There's a page on the admin menu called 'User Macros' which list the names of the UMs. On the 'Macro usage' page, I just noticed there is a section titled '_-user-macro-_' which lists which of the UMs are actually in use - with URLs to search results pages listing the pages. I guess this will go some way to covering the search you are asking for, at least if you have User Macros in your instance.
