hi all,
My shop currently uses Jira, confluence, and Bitbucket, all integrated into our active directory and lucidchart. My challenge is that a user was granted a seat to our confluence before lucidchart so the user logged into lucidchart, through confluence, with their personal account and now every time they visits lucidchart from confluence they're are redirected to their personal account/LC Trial.
My question: is there a way to reset this user's confluence profile Without deleting them from confluence and re-adding them. We would like to build fresh associations between our Atlassian applications and the applications integrated to them.
essentially we want to reset the user account and make it baby fresh without having to delete it.
The only options you have are to deactivate or delete a user profile, there is no way to "reset" a profile. But based on the explanation of your problem, even if you could reset a profile that wouldn't fix your problem. If you want to build fresh associations between your Atlassian instance and your integrated applications, you'll need to turn the integration off and turn it back on again.
However, there may be unforeseen consequences of this, so you should probably seek advice from Atlassian before doing anything drastic.
