How do import media wiki content to confluence

I am trying to import my media wiki pages to confluence.

I have tried exporting the pages into an xml, as well as trying to use universal wiki converter.

So far neither have worked. IS there a way to do this?

The UWC is the right way to go, but you can't use as is. Start with that code base, and modify it for your needs. You will also want to do transcoding to map to Confluence macros where possible (sometimes to user macros). It is an involved project, but the more work you put into it, the better the results (talking about the macro mapping).

My team has done this migration for a client. While it is fairly straightforward, it does take some work.
