How do I remove the Log In, Spaces and Browse menu items from a space in 5.1 ?

I'm trying to use the documentation theme for some product documentation and I would like to remove the "Log In", "Spaces" and "Browse" items from the page header for anonymous users.

Any ideas how I can accomplish this?

I have seen various related post for older versions but the suggestions don't seem to work in 5.1.

YOu should be able to define a bit of custom HTML in the template and just use CSS to hide those elements. https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/21912/how-do-i-override-css-styles-in-the-documentation-theme

I can hide the items with CSS but it hides them for all users and not just anonymous ones.

I still need the menu items for admin and regular users so they can add content etc.
