We want to select teams or groups to own documents, not a particular person. That way when a person leaves, we don't have to change the owner to someone else to manage that document's lifecycle. I can't seem to find a way to do this.
@Jack_Marquez Confluence doesn't have a built-in feature to assign ownership to teams or groups, there are some alternative approaches you can consider .use page restrictions to control who can edit or view specific pages within Confluence. While this doesn't assign ownership to teams or groups, it allows you to restrict access to certain pages based on individual user permissions. This can help ensure that only authorized team members can make changes to specific pages
Hi, I appreciate the explanation. I guess the reason for reassigning an owner is not necessarily preventing access, but when setting reminders in the automation on who should review to update it, I need more than one person to do review it. That is where a team can review what is in their 'queue', so to speak, that needs to be reviewed to ensure that the articles are getting updated on a regular basis. So, if ownership isn't the best way to set up reviewers, what would you suggest for it?

@Jack_Marquez one option here is Use the @mention feature in Confluence to notify team members/team when a document needs review. By mentioning specific team members or groups within the document or page comments, you can alert them to review the document and provide feedback
