How do I import FreshDesk solutions into Confluence?

How do I import FreshDesk solutions into a Confluence space? We are migrating one of our systems from FreshDesk to Confluence. However, I am unable to find any way to import the FreshDesk solutions.

In FreshDesk, we export the solutions as XML (JSON is the other option). However, the default space import process in Confluence does not understand this XML file. I didn't think it would work as it is not Confluence => Confluence migration.

I'd appreciate any suggestions or maybe pointers if I've overlooked something in Confluence.

Hi @Jeramy Spring

I am not an expert in FreshDesk, but definitively it would be not easily possible to export import using XML.. As you mentioned Confluence only recognize XML that was exported from other Confluence..

Not sure if JSON would be more helpful but overall I think the only option would be to create own application / script that using Confluence API could inject data (create page and add content to it)

Of course all depends how the data is written in XML / JSON files, but I think that is the best (and only) way yo go forward..

I looked briefly if there are not any plugins / extension that would make this possible but unfortunately I found only one that sync from Confluence to FreshDesk (one way) and it is available also for Cloud, so not ideal in our case..

But if someone created an app in one way there should be also a way to create in other way :)

@Mirek - Thank you for your response and taking the time to help me out.

Take care.
