When I copy an existing space to a new space, it makes me the space owner and page owner on all of the pages I copied. I am making a copy and expect that the original space and page owners would be retained. I need to do this due to key conflicts with migrating spaces from another instance to a consolidated instance but the admin is not the 'owner' of the content.
Hey @Carolyn Hinkel, you may want to check https://confluence.atlassian.com/confkb/how-to-copy-or-rename-a-space-in-confluence-169578.html to explore options and how you can go about that.
Alternatively, you can move the root page of the source space to a target "empty" space. There are a few steps in between and considerations you need to evaluate, of course. However, it could work for your use case. This way, we can keep page owners, comments, etc.
