How do I add descriptive, light text to sections of my document while in editor?

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!
As you can see in the screenshot below, there are sections of this templated document that are a light gray color and offer a description of what should be input into this section.
I'm adding into this document and would like to create the same tips/descriptions, but I'm having trouble discovering how I can achieve this.
Also, this feature is nice because when a user begins editing in this section, the tip/descriptive text is automatically removed (and does not display in the public view at any time).
Can someone help me out here? Thanks!

This is a macro called "Placeholder text" that you can only see when you edit a custom template.
